After a holiday based on thanks and giving, I hope everyone finds themselves in a place of joy and love this December.
While communing with Spirit today and reflecting on my past week, I was given a reminder for this holiday season. One which lifts all the pressure and expectations for what Christmas is, one which is easily put in to practice and one which is especially beneficial to all those you love who surround you… Give your presence. Our life is made up of these quick, fleeting moments. Trillions of them! We so easily stay distracted from these as we remember the past and worry about the future. Even in a state of excitement for what is to come, we ignore what is NOW. This season, take a slow breath each moment, feel the gratitude for life and bask in the small stuff. The hugs you give, the abundance you create, the giggles of excitement and even the calming of a child’s tantrum. Just as our bodies are made up of star stuff, our lives are made up of blissful moments. We only have to become aware of them! May we calm our bodies, bring awareness to our minds and lift our spirits this season. May we give our presence to each moment and each of our loved ones when we have them near. May we keep a slow pace and playful heart. May our Light burn as bright as the winter fires we share. Namaste & Happy Holidays
